Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage. This policy lists the technologies our website actually uses, based on an audit of our code.
Strictly necessary technologies are used without consent because the site cannot work without them. Everything else stays switched off until you choose to allow it.
1. Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in, protect your account and make checkout work. They cannot be switched off.

2. Functional
Functional technologies remember optional preferences. Cailub does not use functional cookies. If you choose a currency to see prices in, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage as "cailub_currency" (only after you pick one, and only on that device) so the site remembers it; you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. To suggest a starting currency we use the country our hosting network reports for your connection; we do not store it.
3. Analytics
Cailub does not currently run any analytics on cailub.com. The "Analytics" choice in our banner is there so that, if we add cookieless page-view counting in future, it only runs after you allow it.
We do not rely on the statutory exemption for statistical analytics. If that changes, we will first verify that the exact technology and use meet the legal requirements, tell you here, give you a simple way to object, and never use it for individual behavioural profiling or advertising.
4. Advertising and marketing
Cailub does not use advertising or marketing cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site trackers. If we ever do, they will stay off unless you opt in.
5. Your choices
When you first visit, our banner gives you three equally easy choices: "Accept all", "Reject non-essential" and "Customise". No option is pre-ticked, and scrolling or continuing to browse is never treated as consent.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. We keep a record of your choice, the date and the policy version on your device.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will not work without the strictly necessary ones.
We do not use device fingerprinting or any other technique to get around your choices.
6. The Cailub chat widget on our customers’ websites
When a business adds a Cailub chatbot to its website, the chat widget uses the following browser storage on that website. It does not use cookies, advertising or cross-site tracking. Nothing is stored until the visitor uses the chat, except where the visitor asks to hide it.
