These terms apply when you create a free demonstration chatbot on cailub.com. They supplement the Terms and Conditions and the Acceptable Use Policy.
1. What a demo is
A demo is an independent demonstration generated by Cailub using publicly accessible website information. It is for evaluation and illustration only.
A demo is not an official service of, endorsed by, or installed on the website of the business it is based on. It may contain incomplete, outdated or AI-generated information.
2. Your acknowledgement
Before creating a demo you confirm that you will use website information lawfully, that you are entitled to submit the website for evaluation, and that you will not use the demo to impersonate or misrepresent the business it is based on.
3. What we read and collect
We read one page only: the public homepage you submit. We do not follow links, read other pages, or bypass logins, paywalls or technical restrictions. If the website’s robots.txt asks automated tools not to read the page, or the website blocks the request, we stop and no demo is built.
We use the page’s text only, not its design, logo or images, and we do not deliberately collect personal data from it.
We record the website address you submitted, when it was read and whether robots.txt allowed it, the text extracted, and your demo conversation, so the demo works and so we can prevent misuse. See the Privacy Policy.
A demo assistant has no tools: it cannot send emails, submit forms, make bookings or contact anyone.
4. Sharing a demo
You may share a demo with the business it represents to show what Cailub could do. You must not present it to anyone as an official or approved service of that business.
5. Demos we prepare for your business
Cailub may build a demo of a UK organisation’s website and send it to that organisation by email. These demos read a small number of key public pages (not just the homepage), respecting robots.txt, text only, with no tools: they cannot book, send or contact anyone.
The demo can be opened without an account by anyone with its private link, and it is never published or indexed by search engines. It is deleted after 30 days.
The business can delete it at any time with the link in our email, which also stops all further emails from Cailub. See the Privacy Policy for how we choose who to contact.
6. Expiry and removal
Demos are temporary. A demo of your own website expires after 14 days, and a demo of someone else’s website after 7 days. When a demo expires, the website text and conversation are removed; the remaining record is deleted 30 days later. You can delete a demo yourself at any time.
To prevent misuse, you can build up to 3 demos a day, and demo conversations have a daily message limit.
Website owners can ask us to remove a demo of their site at any time by emailing cailub.solutions@gmail.com. We will disable demos promptly following a credible intellectual property, privacy, security or legal complaint.
7. No charge and no obligation
Demos are free. Creating a demo does not commit you to buying anything and will never trigger a payment.
